My 90 has a blown rear damper, so I ordered a pair of Armstrong STC3767 from a well known parts dealer to replace both. The parts arrived today except they sent some Boge STC3771's instead. I have a little trip planned in a few days so will these dampers work on the 90? Looked on here and a few sites, the parts dealers say that they are for the 110 without the self leveling unit, while some other sites say they are for the 90. There is no lift on my suspension, and the overall dimensions eyeball the same. Can any one confirm or deny that they will fit before I contact the dealer or start ripping the old dampers off, I would be happy if they fit as the Boge are nearly twice the price of the Armstrongs (doesn't mean they are better though).

Asked my local indi earlier and he said that the Boge STC3771 was for the 110, although they could be fitted to a 90 at a push if it was doing a lot of heavy work.

He said that the ride would be almost solid in an unloaded 90.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, since I won't be carrying heavy loads for a while back they go, hopefully the seller will make things right.

I have 2 Armstrong dampers aka 110 or 90 new in box £24 if your desperate, but bodge should be fine as it is the spring that absorbs the pot hole and damper controls spring harmonic aka damper.

Shock absorber is a miss leading term.
