get the mains off first mate, light tap with a rubber 'ammer will do it, get the old cork whatsits out the mains and soak them in petrol or thinners , get the old oil and **** off.
the seal is dead easy ,
i did mine in two mins, rip the old one off with a screwdriver ! simples
then clean the crank with some thinners and wipe off with a rag, put the new seal over the crank ( it has a split in it ) put the split to the bottom with the spring recess facing inwards to the block / oil flicker on the crank.
put the spring round the crank, loosely, then hook the ends together,
with two small screwdriver or yer fingers , slightly stretch and pull the spring over the groove in the oil seal then push it inside the rubber bit, making sure yer carefull not to un-hook the ends or yer will have to do it again,
if yer feelin like doin a proper job, put a dab of sillicone on the ends of the oil seal as yer fit it,
cant find the pics of it being done but
