P38A Rear Bumper Inserts

Quick question that I hope someone can answer.

Are the two (coloured) rear bumper inserts at the side of the bumper easy to remove or does the whole bumper have to be removed to gain access to remove them?

Just thought Id ask before potentially breaking them trying to get them off.

I removed mine with bumper off, but I think you should be able to pop them off with the bumper on, with a bit of persuasion - they're held on with " toothed" spring clips. However, you won't be able to re-attach them

Ok thanks, I really don't want to remove the complete bumper! I will have to find an alternative way to re-attach them. Crap design IMO if you cant re-attach the clips.

You can reattach them, just remove the bumper

It was just daft, period - either have a black bumper - or a colour coded one - but half and half ? crazy....

Agree, especially if you have to remove the complete bumper just to re-attach them! I definitely do not want to remove the bumper, read a few horror stories on here regarding brackets/fixings corroded etc making it a nightmare to get the bumper back on so dont want to go down that path!

From what I’ve seen the boys taken their rear bumper off were worried, but then suprised how decent was underneath. Not like disco you take rear bumper off and rear seats come with it.

Mine was/is disgracefully all too clean underneath to have bumper removal issues.

Sometimes I post pics for us then go back and delete them after theyve been seen. Like vins or something we comparing
