Rear bump stop chassis mount!! Before I cut it off

Hi all

I have started re-building my 90 chassis.

Have put the rear beam on but the spring mount is rotten so cut it off today and have a replacement spring mount.

This is not the problem i have taken the bump stop off and found the bracket on the chassis is rotten though. does any one know where and if you can buy on from so i can weld it on to my chassis?

NEED TO KNOW ASAP will cut it off or try to do something with it tomorrow

by bracket do you mean the two little sticky-up bits per each bump-stop that the bump stop bolts onto? Should be dead easy to fabricate / have fabricated, or failing that just put some blind rivet nuts on the chassis and screw new bump stops to them.

Most likely in all the rust and crud it's the metal part of the bump-stop that has welded itself to the mounting brackets - thats what mine had done..

i have cut it off now Well it more likely fell off with rot.

Think i will try and fabricate one does not look that bead to make.
