Hi all, I’ve got a 300tdi 110. The rear breaks have worn the inside pads down to metal while the outside pads are like new on both sides. The callipers are not seized up and were new bearmach ones around 4000 miles ago. I’ve noticed the rear wheels lock up before the front as well. Has anyone got any idea why it would do this?
thanks

The brakes feel really smooth so I don’t think the discs are warped. I had a look on my mates 90 and that has some sort of valve on the bulkhead that the brake lines go to and mine hasn’t got this. Is there anywhere I can get a diagram of the original brake set up?

I think that’s a compensation valve, the 90 had it but the 110 doesn’t.

It’s normal to have one pad wear slightly more than the other, though that level of difference is usually caused by seized pistons or missing brake shields allowing more dirt/grit onto the discs.

No ‘G-valve’ on a 110.
