Hi All, Does anyone know a mechanic that would remove my rear axle for a fair price. I just need it removing from a spare range rover I have bought for spares, so that I can recondition it and then get it fitted in the car I drive. There is no rear propshaft on the vehicle which makes it a bit easier. I love to do my own repairs but I now suffer with vertigo and working under the car makes me ill. There will be plenty of tea or coffee and maybe a bacon butty.

I actually enjoy working on the car but I just cant get underneath anymore. I don't want any comments about the size of my stomach lol.
I am working on the wife to let me dig a pit under the carport, she is slowly coming round to my way of thinking.

If no one nearer pipes up....I can do it but you would have to cover fuel as well. 23mpg from TF2 (50 miles each way possibly?)

Yep, no problem.
It might be worth mentioning if you have axle stands, trolley jack etc and what conditions they would have to work in ie is it under cover is it on a good working surface? That sort of thing.
