hi all can any one tell me where the abs sensor plugs are for the rear of my 2001 td4?? have seen some replacements on fleabay for about £20 are these ok seem a little cheap to me!!!

Fink they're the same as other Freelander 1's. Follow the abs sensor cable from the rear wheel. As it meets the brake pipe it goes up behind a plastic wheel arch cover. Connector is up there.

On my late '99 petrol the ABS sensor to loom plug is clipped to the inner sill verticle section on the underside just forward of the rear wheels . If you crawl underneath you will see it.

thanks for that hippo, have had the dreaded 3 amigo problem, have replaced brake switch, got car code read and it says 'abs accelerator switch fault' bought new one from dealer.......still got the lights on the dash...D'OH! now going to remove and test/clean abs sensors... hope this works! i'll keep you posted!

from rave disk:

ABS = yellow
ETC = yellow
HDC fail = yellow
HDC information = green
