Hi, this is my first post here.
I have been given an old series 3 88" pickup landy. It was given to him with no v5 and unfortunatley the previous owner has passed away.
My friend thinks it is ex- military. It has a area on the back of different coulour paint where i believe a reg plate has previously been mounted. But we have no idea of the year or registration.
I have the serial number which has given me a rough idea of the vehicle.
901Model: Land Rover, Series IIIBody type: BasicWheel base: 88inEngine: petrolModel years: 1972-1979Destination: Home market, right-hand drive (RHD)03504Serial numberADesign: Unmodified
I have been on to the dvla but with not much help with this matter.
does anyone have any idea about how i can go about finding the registration. Or if i re-register the vehicle the dvla will put it as an early model or a later model. mainly for tax reasons.
If any one can help i will be really thankful.
Many thanks
Paul
