If your existing key fob quits working here are the steps to get it working again.

Step 1:
Stand outside of the Range Rover with all of the doors of the vehicle closed. On the integrated remote fob and key unit, hold down the "Lock" button continuously. While holding this button, place the key into the driver's side door lock.

Step 2:
Continue to keep the "Lock" button of the fob held down. Rotate the key clockwise in the door lock. Keep the key rotated as far as it will turn for three seconds. (I had to hold it for about 5 seconds, I heard a click when it reprogrammed) Rotate the key back to the center and remove it from the lock. Do not release the "Lock" button.

Step 3:
Stop holding the "Lock" button on the fob once the key is completely clear of the door. The fob and the Range Rover will synchronize. The remote buttons will now control the locking functions of the vehicle.

This worked for me.

If buying secondhand keys, it is ESSENTIAL that you have either the Lockset Bar code (13 or 14 digits) or the FOB code stored in the donor Becm (Three sets of 3 numbers-e.g. 012-345-678).
These codes are then programmed into your Becm and the blade swapped with the original for the car.
Let's look at the costs, assuming you do not have access to diagnostics (Test Book or Faultmate)......
Second hand keyfob £40 + Becm unlocking & programming at say £100 + shipping or travel costs (If being done "On Site") say £40...Total around £180

New key from Stealer £130

Simples !!!!
