That is lovely!

A straight and original 7 seater is a very versatile vehicle, I like the fact that you have the roller boot blind too, often broken and removed or sold separately on ebay as tehy fetch tidy money if advertised on forums etc, too.

Not entirely original
The paintwork is full of Orange peel. The old guy I bought it off was ripped off with the respray. Paid someone to do a proper job and they did it outside on a driveway. Can still see some of the original paintwork.
Fortunately it was solid with no rot and I liked it so thought it worth saving

Looks nice does that :) And..... no EDC either = bonus*.

Has the EGR been blanked ?

And deffo agree with Marmaduke 100%, far too many D1's getting scrapped. ( and probably D2's too, but too much electronical sh*t in them for me;))

* Has it been taken orft? or is it one of the rare ones without it originally <- in which case it is deffo worth keeping alive and well :)

Orft....I have no idea what that means

No the get is there as far as I'm aware

EDC??

Orft = off - from the Cohen brothers film "Oh Brother where art thou" :D

"get" ??? Ah! I see autocorrect has screwed up yet again  - your piccie of the engine bay shows the EGR still in place - but a common mod is to put a blanking plate in to stop it releasing exhaust gases into the inlet plenum, and coaking same up... often to the point of reducing performance !

Good !! tis funny :)

EDC - Did you read my posts earlier in the thread about what to look for and the issues with it ??? ( I'm guessing not!:p ) IIRC, posts 13 and 15....

BUT, yours doesn't have it, hence me commenting "bonus" - and hence my question about whether it has been taken orft - cos your (96) disco is a bit late to have to have the earlier system fitted..... :)
