Mine has them fitted but they don't work either and it still passes M.O.T, don't know the official answer tho.

as far as i am aware the only washers than come into the test are those for cleaning the windscreen
although there was a note about HID headlamps that should have them fitted but that is more for IVA tests

Oh! well i think i better try them with the lights on then, thats something i would never have thought off tbh.they also only work with the lights on
