BEWARE!
stay away!, a rip off conn man and over charged to read fault codes too!
my R/R would not run on petrol, lpg ok!
i enquired as to weather he was able to and had the equipment to be able to work on this vehivle, he said yes!
he said his equipment had found faults, 4 defective injectors another 2 where questionable
"so may as well change them all" he said, quoted me £164 each and £200 labour!
"if this dont work you will need to change oxysensors too" he said.
LR's wanted £83 inc vat per injector, i sourced them at £35 each!
worked out i had a bad connection at the air flow meter! thats it, i found it and i fixed it myself!
he was very concerened about who i took it to when i told him his diagnostic equipment was sh1te and the faults didnt exsist, even called me back to ask who! little wonder why!
AND he charged me £40 to read codes AND £30 labour!
this was in 07 but it makes me bloody angry he still in busines to do it to others!
also said i had faults with both front hight sensors but
GRAWALL AUTOS, LAND ROVER, RANGE ROVER, DEFENDER & DISCOVERY SPECIALISTS (abridge) could find no such fault when it on there machine?
they where great help over the phone, they said in 15 years of working on P38's they have never changed an injector or a hight sensor!
I highly recomend GRAWALL AUTOS, LAND ROVER, RANGE ROVER, DEFENDER & DISCOVERY SPECIALISTS to anyone!
