After leaving my Range for the night, I find that the next morning the whole front end. both sides is dipping. However, i have no problem with it wahtsoever during driving and for the remainder of the day. Is this a serious problem which would require the whole EAS system to be replaced? What's the best and worst case scenarion in part costs?

Thanks for your help...

Marvin

Best case - front air spring leaking (most likely) about £65 + fitting

Worst case - valve block, many £100's!

Get it sorted before it wears your air compressor out and costs you even more.

Under the passenger seat (RHD cars) there is a yellow box which looks like a large relay. Pull it out at night after you switch off. It will stop the system from self-levelling itself, so if one of the springs is leaking it will be obvious which one it is next morning!

Something I tried on my old 1995 DSE which had the same symptons as your Range Rover and it would help to eliminate whether it was your air springs or valve block.

Try applying some quality rubber sealant with a paint brush, it worked for me although it is only a temporary substitute. Sooner rather than later the air springs will need replacing.
