Hi ….i have my l322 vogue 05 plate and I have renewed the fuel pump under the left wheel and the one under the bonnet with a new plug on top with new rubber o ring and put a non-return valve in and still getting air in my clear pipe soon as I switch it off …..or when driving will cut out and take a while to start ……
Can someone please help

Which pipe are the bubbles in, A or B?
And are they going to or from the filter?

I assume they are coming back from the HP fuel pump into the filter?
In which case did you buy a recon HP fuel pump or did you refurb it yourself?
Or possibly a pin hole in the pipe from the filter to the pump, but then I'd expect to see or smell fuel.

No I put a new fuel pump in and a non return valve to see if it was the line from the tank to the fuel filter but still getting air bubbles

So you haven't replaced the high pressure pump under the bonnet?
Which direction are the bubbles going when you switch off the engine? I'm trying to establish if the air is coming back from the HP pump or going towards it.

Coming out of the fuel filter into the clear pipe

If the air bubbles are coming from the pump to the filter I don't see the point of a non return valve given the bubbles are not flowing back anyway. Not that it makes any difference to your issue.

I suspect you have a pinhole or small crack in a pipe somewhere in that fuel line. I would guess it's between the tank and the pump drawing air in. If it was after the pump I suspect the fuel would be coming out rather than air going in.
