Hi guys my name is Tony I’m new to this forum and I’m hoping you guys could help me with my TDV8, I drove this vehicle down from Chester to Kent with no major issues on the motorway it was fine between 70-100 but when accelerating from a stand still it was really slow couldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding, so I’ve changed the fuel filter and air filter still the same, I plugged it in showing multiple faults one is the MAF but I swapped these around still showing the same error on the same bank, so I took a break and decided I needed to top her up with diesel so popped over the the fuel station and decided to pop her into low gear ratio and she turns into a sports car flying off the lights like a bat out of hell, is this normal just need to check before I start replacing more bits on her.

I worked for Land Rover for a few years after a 10 year stretch at BMW it wouldn’t surprise me, just wasn’t expecting such a quick pick up on low ratio after being over taken on the slightest incline by a push bike on high ratio.
