Range Rover sport park problem

My 2014 sport park switch on the gear selector, the little silver one gets stuck in the park position and won’t let you select any gear, is this just a case of prising it out and replacing it or is there a lot more involved.

Have you got dirt, sweat or polish, or something sticky around the edges of the button ?

No, I am sure the button used to light up when it was on as well, maybe no power is getting to it, if I mess about enough with it the park will come off and I can move the gear shifter again.
