Range Rover Radio help required

I have a 1995 Range Rover 4.6HSE P38. I have fitted a Kenwood KDC-W707 cd receiver and CAW-LR7140 steering wheel remote control adaptor, but although the radio works fine the steering wheel controls do not.
I refitted the standard head unit and the controls work fine on the steering wheel.
Have you any idea's please?
It has been into my Kenwood dealer with no joy, I would be very glad if any one can shed any light on this for me to get the steering wheel controls to work.

You got the correct adapter for the stalk control? Autoleads

These guys should have what you need if that's the case - you may just need an adaptor to make it work properly. They have user guides online and if you email them, they have been very helpful to me in the past.
