Range Rover P38 diesel auto box gone mad

My mate's my2000 dse has the same problem. He had another turbo fitted, all associated hoses/intercooler removed and checked out. Map sensor and hose replaced. Egr blanked. Still the same. Scary to drive pulling out of junctions or entering roundabouts. So if you find cure please post on here.

Checked throttle pot or maybe lift pump? The diesel is fly by wire.
 
Injection pump Quantity adjuster problem or faulty MAF sensor.
Earlier diesels(Without EGR and MAF) are much more reliable beasts.

Providing it is working MAF sensor has nothing to do with how engine runs. A faulty one not giving expected signals can confuse engine ECU though.
