Range Rover no power and black smoke

Hi I’m after any help with a problem I’m having and iv been told this is the best place to go for any advise
recently bought a Range Rover l322 td6 2003 And turbos not coming in and it’s chucking black smoke out constant Evan on tick over getting bad now everyone is looking at me for th wrong reasons haha I have 2 fault codes boost control and engine stability
please any advise will be really great full thanks I know you’ve probably heated this before but I have searched and couldn’t find anything I’m guessing it’s a vac related problem thanks again

Black smoke is running rich.
If turbo knackered then this is why.
If turbo not knackered then check for splits or breaks in turbo hosing allowing air leaks.

Well I had a quick look and seems all the vac pipes are all over the place so gunna tackle that tomorrow is there anywhere I can find a diagram so I can make sure there all in the right places

Dont know about td6 vac pipes, never had one.
Does the turbo spin? Have you taken it off and assessed it?

Sorted it now removed inlet manifold run all new vac lines give it a good service and seems to be better now still a little smoke but I’m guessing that will clear in a few miles
