Hi there, I have recently bought a manual 96 Range Rover P38 for restoration. I have no hand book and have managed to lock it and no matter what I do I cant open it. I got an EKA code from a kind man from a dealership in Pretoria but when I turn the key in the drivers side door lock it only takes the code when I turn the key anti-clockwise and it doesnt take the code in the clockwise position as I cant hear it beeping. The drivers door handle is broken and the rods have fallen off inside the door. Can anyone tell me how to de-activate the locking system? All I really need is to be able to lock the drivers door with the central locking once the handle is replaced. The vehicle has been locked fortunately with the bonnet open. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
