Range Rover Locked with bonnet open! Unable to get in!

If the doors have superlocked and the BECM has gone into an alarmed state and it isint accepting the EKA code then you will have to cut the lock mechanism.ie the u shaped part bolted to the door frame.(I forget the offical name for it).

1. Don't think the EKA has anything to do with physically unlocking the doors. Its to disarm the engine immobiliser.

2. It won't beep all the time. Are you starting with four turns anti-clockwise? This tells the system to now expect the EKA code. Then run through the code slowly, making sure the key centres between each turn. Once you finish the code turn the key to unlock the door and all 4 door locks should pop up together. This tells you you got it right.

It does sound though like there's more than just the external door handle that's broken. Probably the lock inside and the micro-switch connecting the central locking system is damaged too. I can't think of a non-destructive manner of getting in to the car if so.. maybe someone else will come along with an idea.
