Hi everyone
Ive got a Range Rover Autobiography Black i got cheap with a air suspension fault, The Switch lights up but when you try raise the suspension the top light out of the three just flashes so i code read it with snap-on Modis and got (can bus error) i cleared it but still the same only no codes in the memory, i watched live data and the (up solenoid Inactive). The compressor looks new and the previous owner told me it had been changed so im a bit stuck anyone had this problem before?

Sounds like the compressor has been misdiagnosed, next thing is to check wiring to the solenoid block and make sure there is an air supply to it. It could be the solenoid or the solenoid assembly, wiring or air supply.
Does the lowering solenoid activate also?

Yes the lowering solenoid is working on live data, I read somewhere that the door lock mechanisms being faulty can have an effect on the air suspension system, is this true because the central locking doesnt work on the drivers door?

Thats a good question, I'm not sure if the suspension is halted when a door is open on the L322?
@gold rover is the suspension stopped on your l322 with a door open?

@ijhutch79, Also if the interior lights go off when you shut the problematic door then it shouldn't affect the suspension as the car knows the door is shut.

Yes. AFAIHBT All doors must be closed. That's why one is left off the latch when changing a wheel/tyres. However, it doesn't need to be unlocked on CL for veh to recognise open or closed. I lost synch yonks ago, and work on good old key in lock, without any EAS issues. I'm working on premise that OP is also unlocking with key, so shouldn't make a difference.

P.s just noticed @ijhutch79 that you're using Snapon. I'm sure this has been mentioned recently, as not exactly what the L322 needs to speak to, to be understood.

I agree with gold, a more suited diag suite will be more specific especially if your keeping the beast for a good while:D
