hi
I am Richard from hungary, and i have one p38, and my car sit down, and speak me eas problem, somebody knows what the problem???

There are a few reasons for it to be sat on it's arse. But 95% + of the time it will be a failed compressor seal or diaphragm valve.

Sorry Datatek, forgot you were doing them. Do you do a OBD2 - Faultmate lead? The one they supply is ridiculously short and they want £25 postage for a longer version for something that costs less than a tenner.

Hi Derek, I don't have the 15 pin D connector in stock or the cable which I assume is 8 or more cores. I can look at the possibility if you are interested, probably not economic though. Personally I find the cable long enough as it allows the Faultmate to sit on the passenger seat and I have a long cable to the laptop.:)

Data, BBS's low usage OBD11 cable is only about 12 inches long, an extension lead is provided FOC with the SV kit.

I'm considering buying a new OBD11 cable for my Faultmate as I would prefer a longer vehicle /server cable, for those who feel the same some options below.

J1962M to Open End 3 metre

OBD Cables: J1962M to Open End (no connector). - OBD2Cables.com + shipping.

Plus for those with damaged/dirty vehicle sockets

If there were enough interest, I would guess I could do a 3.5 metre cable for around £12 + P&P, a one off is not practical as I would need to order a drum of cable.
