Range Rover Classic - Floor removal

Hello everyone,

After some restoration work on my fuel system etc i removed the floor. Before i refit it does anyone know what sealer to use? When i took it off it had a soft grey like substance. Im thinking just using normal silicone?

SikaFlex do a proper automotive sealant for vehicle joints.

^^^. There are a number of sealants for this purpose & the sikaflex ones are very popular.
Caravan place I do some bodywork for use a lot of Sikaflex 512 and the W4 strip I've linked below.
Both gun applied & in strip form, the latter coming on a roll.
