Hi all
Can anyone help with this brake problem , I own a 1993 Rangy 200 tdi and started having a really bad fluid leak around the reservoir ,the top of the brake booster would be swimming in fluid so I got replacement seals for the reservoir but after fitting it still leaked like a sieve many people looked at it but know one could help. A friend had just changed his Rangy to none abs ( he didnt like all the pipes ,pumps and gubbins that go with it ) so I fitted his brake booster which he'd had no problems with . I bleed the brakes as per instructions and the peddle is very firm the problem is that when I brake the peddle pushes back and its hard to brake gently, as soon as I apply pressure they grab . before all this started the brakes were superb even the guy at the mot station commented on how good they were. Even when the ignition is off and you touch the peddle it pushes back at you. Any advice greatly appreciated..the lone laner
