Alright folks first post on here and first time land rover owner, im got my f/l diesel on monday so i havent really had the change to get to know it properly yet. Can somone tell me kindly what range do you get to a full tank of diesel on the road not off road....Thanks chaps..;)

About 370-400 miles. But it have larger wheels, and it's a little bit heavier than stock L-series (+200 kg's to normal weight)

Wheels are 205/80 r16 MP71 AT Tires

Mods? nah, just a few small upgrades as Roll cage, rack & ladder , underbody protection ect. ;)

i have a L series and never done a run in it yet but 400 would be good if mine did that... 600-700 in my mondeo tdci before the landy so i have noticed im at the petrol station more lol

Did a 113 mile drive home today down the m5 I stuck £20.01 in it filled it up to just a tad under the halfway mark and I still have about 1/8th of a tank left, I was averaging 70-80mph

do not fill it with petrol you will be getting no mpg and keep it under 70 you will get more mpg

for some reason my freelander dont like over 70... doesnt bother me much tho as i dont do that speeds i like 50-60 lol

and i dont use petrol... altho i wont let the wife put fuel in lol

I have an L series 2ltr diesel made Penzance in Cornwall to Bangor N/Wales fully loaded with 4 adults and luggage on one tank with plenty of fuel spare I think I put £64 back in the tank at current prices.:)

i was going to do a post to see if anyone has tried this but i spotted this thread and it seemed appropriate.
product forte injector cleaner, also an aerosol cleaner that takes about a half hr to do, you have to keep the engine running at 2000rpm and spray the can into the airfilter until its finished - then you need to change the oil and filters a garage will charge £100 i think but the mechanic in the family says it makes a massive difference, and the garage where he works do a lot of taxis and they all say the difference is noticable
to buy the injector cleaner and air aerosol cleaner they are £10 each.

my millage was around 320 to a full tank but ive got the van with tools nobbly big tyres and just had the exhaust done which has made a massive power difference i kept the old cat as that was fine .
