Can anyone tell me how to remove the rain sensor on a 2011 RR Vogue diesel .
Cover removed reveals silver clip both sides I want to get the sensor out without breaking anything.
Also how does the interior mirror remove

Well I must voice my disappointment with the so-called members stupid remarks to a genuine request for information.
If anything is fitted to my vehicle I want it to work as intended.
My thoughts being, when do you start fixing things, ignore the automatic wipers? Auto lights? Puddle lights? All the features add up to a complete vehicle, let the small stuff slide and pretty soon you will be driving a heap of Junk. RR have an image and are pretty good as long as you fix things as you go.
If you can't help fellow members, maintain theirs, at least refrain from stupid remarks .

Certainly not, I appreciate your help
2nd thread? I’m not much help unless you get a P38.
Kds don’t say much but is very helpful? Enry too.
Gstuart will be on before long. Guy knows D3s/L320s inside out. When you give him a question he goes on a proper mission.

Sure I’ve seen something about rain sensor being reglued or something?

(Sorry I keep dragging you into things ;))

hi mate

no worries and always will help where I can as god knows I’ve been helped ,alas not very familiar with the L322 , only the D3 and the L320 seeing they virtually share the same platform , up to around 2011 when the L320 platform completely changed

This is a D3, in some BMWs they also uses the same mirror connector

as in 2010 the interior I believe had some BMW bits and then was changed again in 2011

Well , I must voice my disappointment at so-called member behaviour too.
Joining a site, expecting free help, getting it, then disappearing until the next time help is needed, time and again. Rather than at least trying to help, even if just by making the poor git, whose vehicle has issues, laugh. Not bothering to interact with the community, unless it is for personal gain. Throwing a strop at a little light-hearted banter.
Definitely disappointing :( Whoever would behave like that !?

JLR products are a heap of junk, just look at the J D Power reliability surveys.
Secondhand, they are less a car and more a hobby.

Thanks for that info, I think my windscreen has been replace, I found the mechanism to release the silver tabs, (two small tabs on the back) but even with the clips released my unit is firmly stock in place, seems that windscreen companies do this because they are aftermarket and don't have the base fitted?? so its still ongoing.
