Radius Arm Bolts

Give them a good soak in penetrating oil or if you dont have any, parafin or diesel will do.
Leave them to soak overnight and try tightening them a tad before undoing.
Dont know how this works but an old mechanic mate of mine told me about the tightening trick and it works everytime for me.
 
loads of wd 40 or other agent , are you sure you turning right way, could also try some heat followed by cold water shock sometimes free them off
 
Yea its just me, so....im gona jack up the braker bar, with the other end locked with a spanner on the axel; than hit it with the hammer! Think the landy counts as heavy ish?

Main thing is that im tryna salvage the bolts, as i dont want to have to pay more for delivery than the order, and wait till wednesday for them to get there.
 
i used a hackaw to cut the ends of the bolts off, they were rusted to fook an wouldn't budge even with a 4 foot bar on the end, an the ones i did get moving were spinning in the bushes:mad:

get the grinder out that'll help too, cut the heads off an twot 'em through with a steel bar:rolleyes:
 
Done one side. The axel ones were basterds! Every 1/8 of a turn was as hard as the first till they came off, took over an hour; cant realy get the grinder going at this time of night. The end one on the radius arm was fine though, which was nice. But will need those new bolts after all, these ones are deformed and worn down from the play caused perished bushes.
