problem was i ended up with a 30 amp fuse in the dash cos i kept sticking more bits off it - took all that out, made a proper fusebox for all the extras, now that wee brown one powers the clock and the fag lighter only.
Brown on the ciggy lighter? On mine it's purple, green, black and a wee red/white wire. The only thing comin' from the thicker brown wire is me radio. The thick white wire has me radio and volt meter comin' from it and the thick black one has a couple of gauges connected to it as well.Thats what i did originally.
Did scare meself once though, chucked some keys into the dash, and they touched a bit of the brown wire that had worked its was outta the insulation, big flash!
Me radio's bin in nearly a year and haven't had any probs ... yet!
