The radio/cd player in my 2000 TD5 would not turn off by the unit switch or the ingnition, we could not change stations, adjust the volume or change from radio to cd or tape. I removed the fuse from the main fuse box and that solved it for a time, I was amazed when it started playing again, I removed the head unit and there was a fuse which I removed and silence reigned. I am now getting grief that the radio doesn't work.
Any ideas on a repair would be helpful, or which replacement unit woud be suitable to use. Cheers
