how does it go with ally wings when fitting a new ariel for the radio
old one worked took it of to fit new rubber flexi one ,no radio
have you got to earth it

ps cut and joined the wires to save me putting the wire thro bulkhead

Sounds like you've cocked up the coax cable when you cut it. Why didnt you just tape the new wire to the old one and pull it thru from the inside

Much easier and saves having to post on here because the radio has stopped working.

How have you rejoined the antenna wire. / inline connector ?
have you pulled it out the back of the radio?
The ally wings earth ok so not that

cheers tacr2man i got it sorted

i joined it back together again and worked fine
i think as the centre core is so fine i must of snapped when joining the first time
