hi all,i own a 2000 vogue with h/k system,can anyone tell me what radio should be in my car as i have a few issues with its operation,tell anyone tell me what the top block of wires in the back of the radio should work as i pulled it out and it made no difference.where can i get a photo and wiring diagram for this radio,its a alpine factory,or is this the wrong radio for the system

Recon you have an Alpine unit with a dead amp. very common.

where will the amp be,is it in the radio or somewhere else.could one of youir goodselves take a photo of the three plugs that go into the back of the radio because i think theres some wires missing on mine going into the middle block,i know im cluching a straws now but its driving me doo laly now.

What problems are you having with the radio? I also have a 2000 vogue and had radio problems when I bought it... Mine turned out to be the amp, which I had to replace. All sorted now

Amp is behind the trim behind the cd player in the boot.
the radio works fine,but its not recognising the cd changer(press cd on head unit and nothing happends)and the sat nav works fine but there is no audio directions,im convinced there is wires missing from the loom to the radio unit because the wiring doesnt look like its been factory fitted,it looks like someone has previously had a different unit in it,if anyone can take a photo of the wires going into the middle block of the unit i would be most gratefull as i can rule out my ideas.
after speaking to an auto elec. today he thinks there might be cross over wires missing. another sparky said he thought that its the wrong head unit and the one in my car should be a clarion not alpine.ive contacted l/r and they said it should be a alpine in my 2000 vogue.can someone please send me a photo of the wires coming out of the back of there radio so i can comferm if there are wires missing.
