I have just acquired a very nice 2006 Sport. The only thing that I could call 'wrong' with it
is the LCD display on the radio/cd player. It's very faded to the point of being nearly unreadable.
Not a big prob. The sound system works fine.
I have seen YouTube vids on removing the radio unit. Bit of a knack to it but it appears that
once you have disconnected two ribbon leads the front panel can be popped off in a lump.
I'm thinking it would be just too good to buy a replacement LCD panel and switch it out.
Replace the whole fascia with a new or maybe a refurb unit. Am I whistling up a gum tree?

If anyone can give me a few pointers I would be very grateful. Any places that do refurb parts?
I am reasonably conversant with working on lecky stuff. On cars and much else......
If I can swap a touchscreen on a phone I can do almost anything. :cool:o_O
