For some reason, after about 5 miles into my journey the radio/CD player makes a kind of buzzing sound, any ideas what this could be? It is quite loud, enough for me to turn it off.

If it's the Clarion Diversity head unit, there is a common fault with it. There have been some posts about it detailing a fix.
Mine does it occasionally - I just thump the side of the centre console and it stops doing it.
Eventually I'll send mine off to be reconditioned as the display bulbs have gone too.

Just got back on-line so thanks for your reply, will have a play at the weekend, maybe a good clean/removal and some survisol spray.

Will have a go at this, should be within my capabilities.
Now I have to ask, is Dale an electrical genius, I mean how on earth do you come up with a repair method like that.
