Radio/CD player

'Er indoors has said she will get me a new radio/cd player for the Landy for Xmas but I don't know whether to steer her towards a DAB one or the old bog standard type. Can anyone advise if the old type are going to be useless soon?

hi,the dab,s have both fm and dab so if one or the other was made redundant it would,nt matter dab is ace we put one in the caravan and we love the programes ,i am now looking for one for the freelander,and the house,they have dropped a lot in price and theres a few second hand one,s on ebay,happy listening.

Maybe you should also think about one with a USB socket for an ipod and other devices then you wont even need to carry any CDs around !
