r u new to engines/landrovers

hi,
if like me u joined this site cos u want to get a lr but know f all about them or how they work read on.....
The old boys on this site are really helpful when they r not taking the **** out of each other or talking about the gaylander pub ( i havent got a bloody clue either ! ),but before u start asking questions i REALLY recommend the following site;

the explanations simplyfy what previously i thought was the second most complicated thing in day to day life ie. the engine (women being no.1 ).I am not saying that after an evening on 'howstuffworks' that u be an expert,very far from it,but it really helps !

whats up j-j,gareth ? its a good site if ur a begginer,it just means that when ur reading threads with with a technical topic the begginer can go to that site and have the bits they havent understood expained,just offering advice to people that in the same boat as me.

It is a very good research site if you have zero technical and engineering aptitude.

The videos do help explain things clearly and simply.
