Hi - I'm Steve, new to all this malarky so bear with me!
I'm about to embark on a 9 year ago dream of putting a Series 'Landie' back on the road. I bought a Series 2 some 9 or so years ago as an ongoing resto-project, but as time progressed, lack of protective cover and ever increasing workload persisted, resto never materialised ... well not in full at least. So with the help of our son (who is now showing keen interest after a quick spin in an off-road Disco at the weekend) hope to endeavour to put this baby back on the road. It's going to take some slog for sure so your help along the way, even if its just the odd "keep going" will be more than welcome.
It's been a long while since I got grease and grime under the finger nails, the odd scraped knuckle from using the wrong sized spanner and an eyeful or two of rust and muck, not to mention the delicate waft of welding smoke (and sparks for the matter). So wish us luck, and hope fully in due time we'll have some form of vehicle to show the world!?

Cheers
