I'm currently helping a friend with his freelander problems, so far, we have done the brake switch, fixed the hd switch, replaced two wheel sensors that were faulty, but the tc and abs light is still on, it has however been converted to two wheel drive by having the props removed, could this be the problem?

Removing the rear prop does not affect your abs at all, you have one of 2 problems on the sensors or the ABS unit is faulty. remove all your sensors and clean them with very fine sand paper, replace and make sure the gap between the sensor and the ring is not more than 2mm, reset the ABS computer at a technician. this can only be done by computer. if there is a problem the abs lights will come on again. retest and the computer diagnostics will pin point the fault. most of the time it is a faulty sensor or a sensor that does not pick up. if the diagnostics reveal a shuttle control valve error, you will need to replace the ABS unit as these cannot be repaired
Good luck
