Quality track rod ends

Could anyone recommend a quality track rod for my defender ?

I fitted a delphi set (which I thought were quality) and one has failed after 12000 miles

How did it fail?
I have always fitted the cheap shtiers to my 90 with no issues.

There's play in it ,I jacked her as i have a vibration at speed

The key is to fit ones with grease nipples and grease them regularly.

Dont think worn track rod end will cause vibes, but you never know.
Vibes I see often at work are mostly tyre related, seen a few prop related ones as well.
Maybe swap wheel/tyres front to back?
I assume tracking is okay?

There's defo lots of play in the track rod

I think trackings ok ,il try swapping wheels front to back

Lemförder are good

I last did mine in the autumn of 2013. They were Lemforder brand. I keep trying to wobble them to see if there's any slack, but I haven't found any yet, and they must have done at least 100,000 miles. More importantly, the MOT inspector hasn't found any yet either.

Another vote for lemforder. It's what came out the factory on defenders and alot of other manufacturers
