Hi guys, putting the heads back on my 4.0v8, and like a fool didn't mark which plug leads go where.:doh::doh: So does any one know the order? Obviously the bracket that holds the coil packs on has numbers, but no. 1 right hand bank front, no. 2 left hand bank front, no 3 right hand bank 2nd from front etc??? Or 1234 up the one side then down the other side? Thanks in advance for any help.

if it is a post '99 this might help too

I feel your pain Matt, I'm putting mine back together at the moment too :)

cheers, Paul.

Thanks Paul but mine's a 95 model. It's not too bad to put it back together I don't think, it's just the back right exhaust manifold bolt I'm having a problem with. No bloody space to turn it in. And I just hope it's fixed when it's back together.:(:(

remove the drivers front wheel arch liner, you can get straight at the manifold bolts with an extension on your ratchet, saves rounding the bolt heads off or skinning knuckles;)

I like the photos Paul, they are really good and a nice job of putting it back together again, nice to see all the parts cleaned up and put together again.

no 1 pulley end of left bank

Is that left bank looking at the engine? Or left bank as in the steering wheel is on the right hand side? And is it left bank front to back, then right bank back to front? Thanks, got it wired left side of car front to back then right side back to front, so 2 is steering wheel side nearest pulley?
