Hello, I have left my landy for a while and on returning to use the wipers were very sticky. After a few sticky swipes they stopped at which I thought a fuse had blown. The fuses are all ok. However after checking with a multimeter there is no power to the wiper washer fuse. So where do I look from here? I have the dash out and taken out the sticky wiper bit and using flying leads the wiper motor and gear all works fine now. But I still have no power to the fuse or control switches and I am stuck! Please help!

These diagrams might help. They are for a left hand drive but should be basically the same for RHD.

Thanks very much!
This should be a great help when I have another go tomorow.
Do you know where Junction Box P 147 is? Looks like i may have some fuses in there to check.

In the box under the drivers (right hand) seat. If you need any of the connectors identifying / locating let me know.

Thanks very much.
Problem solved.
30a fuse under drivers seat. Clean forgot that there was fuses under there. Throws you off when you find a fuse for wipers under the steering wheel. Why is there 2 fuses! Strange!
As for why it became sticky..
I found the drivers side wiper wheelbox to be seized up. Had to take the dash out to remove that. - **** job.
I soaked overnight in wd40 and then held in a vice and put the drill chuck onto the spindle and gave it beans. Good lot of **** came out and eventually became free. Replaced this using the opposite side of the gear wheel. Some wear was visable on the gear wheel where it tracks back and fore on the same bit. Packed the rubber seal full of grease before pushing it on. Jobs a good un.
