Puma starter motor..

Morning all!
Got a 2007 Puma & the Starter is playing up. Looks a bit of a mare of a job TBF. Is it a coolant drain then start taking pipes off? Is it accesssable through the wheel arch once the inner wing is off? Anyone done one & could share some hints & tips please?
