My defender 2008 Puma was acting weird - the engine dipping and the accelerator not responding during recent driving in traffic. When I turned off the ignition the problem would go only for it to return a few minutes later. Reading various forms I decided to change the MAP and MAF sensors, I think the problem has now been solved both sensors were quite dirty, it only took a few minutes and even with my limited experience I managed to do it. Im happy now!

That's a good result, on my old Puma I had the same but ended up chasing gremlins for 12 months, the problem with the Pumas is the Engine, you either get a good one or one that's plagued with problems.

Unfortunately, the fix was short-lived I think its vcv that needs changing, so thats the next task to see if this solves the problem of intermittent limp mode when im driving.
