Hi Stuart, cheers for getting back. Right when I unlock the car the main light in the front comes on and also the drivers footwell. None of the door lights work, the rear light doesn’t and neither does the boot light. All brake lights work. I work away all week so won’t be able to check until the weekend, unless I manage to get in the area.
Thanks for all your advice and help.

Cheers for the info

As there are errors there I’m very surprised the snap on isn’t reading any dtcs

I use a gap iid which I’ve found extremely capable of taking to all the systems , it told me when I changed my interior bulbs to leds

Trouble is because you’ve just bought the vehicle it’s a bit of an unknown

If ur diagnostics isn’t reading any dtcs I would be tempted to get another diagnostics reader onto it

Or ur have to start with testing bulbs first to ensure there sound then fuses, starting in the engine bay and working ur way forward with a multimeter

There could even be a break in a wire as the middle light backwards doesn’t work

Have personally had to track errors which I know take time

Do u know a local Land Rover garage near u that could plug it in as there should be errors showing

Know that’s not much help

Have u tested every fuse in the engine bay and passenger footwell yet , if all ok , relays as that’s where I would be starting

Someone on the RRS forum know of something that’s common

Plse let us know how u get on

Thanks Stuart, I’ll see if I can get another diagnostics on it when I get back. As for the fuses, yes I’ve checked every one of those.

No worries

Hope u don’t mind but May I ask how did u check ur larger J type fuses plse , the ones with the small plastic covers

Did u put a test lead in there place etc whilst using a multimeter , are u going across them with a test lead of pos to ground , thks

I bet one of those larger fuses have blown or the relay is faulty

As the auto switch function runs off a different line

Plse let us know how u get on with another diagnostics, as there’s surely got to be some errors there, even some history

Also before I forget

Check that there’s no water by the passenger side sill carpet , pull off the black sill strip and ur see a black plastic cover, see if there’s water in there, a big loom runs in that channel

If there is ur sunroof drain is more than likely blocked
