Hi All, I have noticed today that when travelling forwards especially at speed my 90 defender pulls vigorously to the left and also when accelerating (but not as much when accelerating).

From what I can gather it has all started happening since I hit a tree log with the front left wheel and ended up stuck on top of the log with a blown out tyre. The log was about 1 1/2 ft wide. Its a long story but we survived.

I have had to put the spare wheel on which has a brand new but odd tyre if this makes it any clearer? I was just wondering what the problem could be?

Any Help would be greatly appreciated as to what the problem could be.

Thanks Terra Dog

Okey dokey, so it's not as simple as getting it tracked up. It doesn't pull when coasting along at the same speed i might ad. Is it much of a job to repair?

Replacing trackrod & draglink is simple enough But you'll need to get the tracking done (or do it ya self.) check rods with a straightedge to see if they are bent?

I know the steering bar is bent. From what ive been told and can see myself, but i'm sure it never pulled until the other night.

you have 2 bars that keep the steering parallel and pointing forwards. If you bend one of them it will shorten the length of the bar and pull the wheels in towards each other. making the landy behave erratically and pulling it too one side or worst. when driving.

It's the bar nearest to the back of the truck that is bent. It was bent before but never pulled to the left until i crashed it the other night.
