The sucction through the DCV will create the swirl in the oil mist as the separation to be effective as it's described in the doc i posted...IMO the provent's DCV is more restrictive than the factory fitted one hence the backpressure which mixes up the swirl that's why in the first video the cap is bouncing and in the second one with provent removed it's slightly turning as it should... so my conclusion is that the provent reduces the efficiency of the factory separator then it catches the oil which otherwise would be less.I have a provent 200 fitted but retained the DCV. As surely the turbo induction "sucks" the vapour from the engine so the DCV is required to aid this.
