Hi all
A quick hello from a new owner of a nice 1999 Diesel P38
Based in Central Scotland, I am looking to make this my daily driver, but fully aware these cars need a lot of fettling, so thought a forum was a good place to start.

Background in fiddling with cars and motorbikes, have decided this project is going to involve throwing money at it and not worrying too much - although only aiming to have a car that is nice enough to be proud of, rather than a show stopper!
Looking for help on how to make the car robust enough to deal with real life, and maybe modernising out any of the nonsense!
Looking forward to chatting to you all

Welcome:)

Getting it up to spec is the biggest, but once there regular maintenance and she will do you fine:)

You have come to the right place, enjoy the 38.

Thanks for the replies.
I'll spend my time going through the search before asking questions, but I assume that P38s diesels don't have any real value potential so I can spend my time making it excellent without worrying about classic status and asset value?
