proud father of a series lll

hello all, just to let you know that i will soon be wanting hints, tips and help with the restoration of my series lll landy. its a swb, 2.25 diesel. a little rough at present but im hoping to green lane shortly.

I'll be interested to know how you get on with a 2.25 Diesel on a long trip too. Got any pictures you can post?

yeah, i'll see what i can do over the next couple of days. i'm the second owner of the vehicle. 90+k on the clock. i'm taking it to a mechanic this week to see what needs doing. hope its not bad news. i'm just trying to source cheap parts at present. need new seats and thinking about sound proofing the engine and the cab.

i found my series 111 diesel lwb to be flat out at 52mph, but once it got up there it stayed there uphill, downhill and on the flat. noisy, bumpy and draughty...f*****g magic!!!!!
