Prop questions

Hi guys and girls. I've used the search functions and not really come up with any definitive answers.

I'm currently on with modifying my 300 disco. I've bought a wide angle rear prop and plan on doing away with the doughnut. I've bought this axle flange

now i've read that apparently a spacer is needed when a 200 flange is used as it's shorter than the 300 one, do I still need one with this kit? Also, what is the bolt and split pin for that comes with the kit?

My second question is i've just bought a double carden for the front but it didn't come with the drive flange, so would this be the correct one to buy

It comes with a bolt, split pin and nut to suit all types. If yours has a nut, just use that.

The spacer is for the old type flange, the new ones have spacers built into the flange so it's not needed.

There's also the option to fit a 15mm spacer between prop and flange if you're on a big lift, as when you lift, the prop needs to extend.

Ah right, that clears up the spacer question, cheers. I'm actually a step ahead as I've already got a pair of the 15mm prop spacers. It'll be a 4" lift in total once i'm finished which is why I'm trying to get everything together so its fairly problem free.

Just need the correct td5 transfer flange now and I'm pretty much ready to go.

I wasn't aware you needed a different flange to fit a double cardon prop? I've never converted a 300 to run one though so can't be sure.

I think its the same for any earlier vehicle I think bud, the drive flange on the transfer is different as far as i'm aware, be a bonus if i'm wrong though
