That sounds perfectly normal.
I agree, and my presumption is that the loss was (mostly) modules sleeping down,

I need to leave it a few days I think and see what it is then, and whether the loss is reduced, otherwise a half volt per day is not good, surely?

Car is fitted with a isolator switch by previous owner because it would go flat in a few days.

After coming off charge, even with no load the battery would drop to 12.8 volts after a couple of hours.

Mine had an isolator switch but I can leave it for at least 2-3 weeks and it's fine.
People fit isolators thinking it's battery drain when often it's just a weak battery combined with lots of short runs.

Well, the 1st test day (Thurs) showed negligible drain. (Thanks to Data for clarifying)

In order to not confuddle the brute said first day test was done with the alarm and bonnet switch disconnected, and vehicle locked.

2nd test day (Fri) was left pretty much to it's own devices, ie. locked with alarm and bonnet switch disconnected. No discernible loss of volts.

3rd test day (Sat) commencing 4pm, the static volts were 12.68...
the only thing I've changed is I re-connected the bonnet switch, but taped it in the OFF position.
Alarm is still disconnected.
Will check tomorrow at some point.

Things seem fine.

(Alarm disconnected because I suspect internal batteries leaking and fouling the the circuitry)

(The dumbass in me totally forgot to actually test the bl00dy thing first!!!)
