a friend has just bought a s3 swb 2 1/4 petrol,it has come with no logbook or reg no.first question is can gaydon supply a reg no using the chassis number?
second question is what were the yearly production figures?

going on the chassis number i think it might be tax exempt.

so it's a bog standard basic unmodified 88

09137 is the serial number - in 71 9300 where built, 72 8600 were made

Gaydon would be able to tell you the day it came off the line

i suspected it may be tax exempt and those figures confirm it,can't think how he's going to get the plate for it though.any ideas?

take the MOT, insurance and proof of age documents to your nearest DVLA office and ask for an age related number plate
